Python
Python is a high-level, general-purpose programming language. Python is commonly used for developing websites and software, task automation, data analysis, and data visualization. Web development and game development are examples of things I could create with Python.

C++
C++ is used to create computer programs, and is one of the most used languages in game development. C++ is also used in developing browsers, operating systems, and applications, as well as in-game programming, software engineering, and data structures. It also powers systems like VR applications.

Luau
Luau is a fast, small, safe, gradually typed embeddable scripting language derived from Lua. It is considered a perfect language for beginners due to its simplicity and forgiveness when it comes to things like indentation.

Choice
I am going to choose Luau. It is applicable to game engines such as Roblox Studio and I can use the code I learn to create a playable game. I can apply it to games I already play and make the most use out of what I learn from this topic. It will also help me understand concepts of programming that will be applicable in many places in the future.
